Sony Ericsson and T-Mobile have announced the Equinox, a basic feature phone with personalized and customizable light notifications. The Equinox features a 2.2-inch 262k-color QVGA (240 x 320 pixel) display, 3G data connectivity for speedy web browsing and downloading, and GPS functionality so that users can find their way on-the-go.

Sprint has announced the Samsung SPH-i350 Intrepid, a Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional-powered smartphone with 3G EV-DO Rev. A. connectivity for the Sprint network and quad-band GSM support for use on international networks. The device comes complete with WiFi technology for high speed local connections. A 2.5-inch QVGA (320 x 240 pixel) touchscreen display should show off the phone’s customizable home screen.
