Samsung announced its new Monte feature phone, a touch screen device that runs Samsung’s proprietary TouchWiz 2.0 Plus user interface and offers quick access to social network applications like Facebook and MySpace.
The 108.8mm x 53.7mm x 12.44mm Monte comes equipped with a 3-inch WQVGA capacitive touch screen display, a 3.2MP camera, aGPS, WiFi, Google Maps 3.0, 200MB of internal memory, and a microSD card slot for adding up to 16GB of additional storage. For email and calendar accounts, the Monte offers Exchange ActiveSync and Google Sync support.
