Acer announced two brand new Android phones, the beTouch E120 and beTouch E130 models. Acer beTouch E100 has a 3.2 inches resistive touch screen display of resolution 240 X 400 pixels. Acer beTouch E100 comes with a 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7225 processor. It has a memory of 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM. The 3.2-inch touchscreen features a 240 x 400 pixel resolution with 65k colors. 2 megapixel camera with digital zoom, 320 x 240 QVGA Internal memory of 512MB and expandable via microSD card slot. Acer announced its new beTouch E400 smartphone, an Android 2.1 (Eclair) powered device. The beTouch E400, powered by a 600MHz Qualcomm 7227 processor, sports WiFi connectivity, a 3.2-inch HVGA touch screen display, a 3.2 megapixel camera with geo-tagging, and Facebook integration. The phone also features Acer Lighting Behavior, which lets you customize the LED to blink a different color depending on a new alert or message you may have received.

The E110 is an entry level Android phone. This is a small cute device that is a non-OHA compliant device.  It did not receive certification from Google because it doesn’t feature a compasss. The specs of the E110 are near the bottom for an Android phone. It features a ST Ericsson 416 MHz CPU, 2.8 inch resistive touch screen, 256 MB ROM and 256 MB RAM, and is powered by Android 1.5.  Since the beTouch E110 lacks the Android Market, Acer has preloaded several popular apps like Facebook and Twidroid.

The Acer Tempo F900 has trounced the smartphone scene, bringing with it a massive 3.8″ WVGA (480×800 pixels) resolution touchscreen display. The Tempo F900 is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, with a custom Acer-developer widget-based user interface. Acer launched its latest flagship Windows Mobile powered smartphone, the Acer S200 neoTouch. The neoTouch features a large 3.8-inch resistive touchscreen display that offers an impressive 800 x 480 pixel (WVGA) resolution.
