rendering of it has just appeared over at HTCpedia, and, if this is indeed what the handset looks like, then HTC did a fine job designing it. Sure, there’s nothing spectacular about its look. But then again, many phones with a simple design are considered beautiful – take Apple’s iPhone for example.

The Apple iPhone has been rumored for over 4 years now but the waiting is over. Announced January 9, 2007 at the Mac World Expo, the iPhone is a cell phone, mobile web browser and iPod music player in one. The South Korean government has forced the U.S. computer giant Apple to recall the first generation iPod nano over concerns that the battery can overheat, leading to fires. Over the past five years, there have been 46 instances where batteries overheated or exploded, according to government statistics.
